When the escape pod from his doomed ship lands in a foggy jungle on an unexplored world, Billings finds himself alone and unable to contact the other members of his crew. As he searches for shelter, he is discovered by a massive humanoid triceratops, and learns that on this world mammals exist to serve as incubators for the planet’s dominant dinosaur species.
